Early Stage E-Commerce
NYC based early stage E-Commerce company had just received their first round of funding and were looking to partner with a recruiter that had the knowledge and ability to hire across a number of sectors including Engineering. As there were many stages in the interview process it was imperative for the client to minimize the number of candidates that they saw as to not impact the hiring manager’s time. Over a four month period we hired two VP’s, four Director’s and three associates. For each of the positions three to four candidates were shortlisted for interview.
Global Market Research Business
LA and NY based MR business needed a full time SVP for their Entertainment division . Brief: Deliver where others had failed. This role was mission critical and had been open for over six months with no potential candidates in sight. It was an extremely rare skillset that required a thorough search. Searched and sourced three candidates from the competition. Successful candidate was hired in 4 weeks from taking on the assignment.
SaaS Event Management Platform
UK based technology company looking to expand their US and European Sales operation. Brief: Work with the CEO to plan, design and implement a robust recruiting process. Search and source candidates from the competition. Evaluate existing Sales team. Participate with hiring Managers on final interviews. Presentation and negotiation of all job offers. Onboarding evaluation, employee appraisal evaluation. Travel to all locations (Manchester, London, Salt Lake and NYC) to meet with stakeholders.
Sports Social Media
This NYC based startup had no HR function or processes and needed to grow their team quickly. Brief: Recruit across all areas of the business including technology, sales & marketing, product, content and operations. Implement a HR function including designing job specs for every position in the company, implementing a review process, managing all employee related issues, design an Intern program, design and implement a company wide handbook, HR compliance, research and implement an Applicant tracking System (ATS), review benefits, visa processing.
Energy Services Provider
CT based utilities company needed training support for their recent SAP implementation. Brief: Provide SAP training to a range of customers within a very tight time frame and budget. Sourced and managed four SAP consultants, organized payroll and all travel arrangements. Project completed on time and successfully. All consultants extended to work on additional projects.
Pharma Consumer Insights Company
UK based Pharma Insights company retained Gap Exec to search for a new VP of Research for their rapidly expanding business in the United States. Brief: Having already successfully recruited a number of Research Analysts and Managers for the company the search for a VP to lead the team was their up most priority. Our team of Researchers built a comprehensive list of potential candidates from some of the market leaders in the sector. After selecting ten candidates we presented 4 to the practice lead. An offer was extended and accepted to the successful candidate within 20 days of the brief. In addition they also decided to hire the runner up candidate.
